- The year
- The Directors are pleased with the Group performance over the financial year encapsulating its Skinner's and Naturediet brands. The Group continues to manufacture a comprehensive product range, with its dry, wet and treats products to its extensive and highly valued customer base. In common with many other manufacturers, the Group experienced inflationary cost pressures, particularly in relation to key raw material ingredients, packaging, energy, wages and transport costs. It is testament to its strategic purchasing measures, alongside the driving of cost efficiencies, that the Group has managed to improve its gross margin year-on-year as well as mitigating input cost inflation in a challenging environment.
- Outlook
- The Group’s sales have increased steadily since the beginning of the current financial year and should this trend continue, we should see improved results for year ending 31st March 2027. The Group continues to invest in its people, processes, operational infrastructure and product range to support future growth.
